2025: A year of growth, community, and a lot of learning

As I wrap up my third year in Executive and Leadership Coaching, I am reflecting on the leaders, teams, and communities I had the privilege to partner with in 2025.

Professional highlights

  • Expanded my coaching work through incredible partnerships with Right Managementassemble HR, and Avid Learner, reaching leaders across new industries.

  • Coached in new sectors, including nuclear energy and chemical industries, while deepening my work in my “home base” of fashion and luxury consumer products.

  • Supported a leader who learned to manage up, strengthen their voice, and ultimately stepped into a new role as COO this summer.

  • Partnered with a self-described perfectionist who began to let go of control by getting more curious, asking better questions, and naming what they needed to let go.

  • Attended my first ICF Converge conference in San Diego. It was motivating, energizing, and helped clarify my 2026 focus and goals. (More to come on that soon.)

A coaching reflection I keep coming back to: When you loosen your grip on control, what new possibilities open up for you and your team?

Personal highlights

  • I set a 2025 intention to deepen my roots in my local community and help create more connection in uncertain times. That intention turned into action:

  • A neighborhood progressive dinner in February became the foundation for regular gatherings.

  • We shared game nights, backyard whiskey tastings, outdoor movie nights, walks, and hikes, and turned neighbors into real friends.

  • I was part of a team that won two pickleball league championships.

  • I was promoted into the Creative role at the Apple Shadyside store, which taps directly into my love of learning, teaching, and helping others grow.

Gratitude

To my clients, partners, friends, former colleagues, and new connections: thank you. Your trust, referrals, conversations, and encouragement fuel the work I do. I am incredibly grateful.

A question for you

As you look back on 2025:

  • What is one meaningful shift you made in how you lead at work or at home?

  • And what is one bold step you want to take in 2026 to lead with more clarity, courage, and humanity?

I would love to hear from you: in the reply, email, comments or a DM.
