Move from your comfort zone into your growth zone.
Stretch into Stronger Leadership
I often remind my clients that leadership coaching is not about changing who you are.
It is about adapting behaviors so you can become a stronger leader, expand your capacity, and help your team grow.
And here is the important part: those changes still need to feel authentic.
But authentic does not always mean comfortable.
Growth often asks us to show up just a little differently.
To ask for feedback and then go one step deeper:
“What else could I do differently?”
To be both direct and compassionate:
“You’re delivering strong results, and I believe there’s even more ahead for you. You matter to this team, and I’m invested in your growth.”
To celebrate the team’s wins, even when recognition is not what personally drives you.
These moments can feel awkward at first.
You may even wonder if people are thinking, “Who is this new person?”
But that discomfort is often the signal that you are practicing a new leadership muscle.
The goal is not to perform a version of leadership that does not fit you.
The goal is to stretch into a version of leadership that is still you, just more intentional, more aware, and more effective.
That is where growth happens.
Not by abandoning who you are.
By expanding how you lead.
What is one leadership behavior you are ready to practice, even if it feels a little uncomfortable at first?
